One week later I was back in the trees
This time it was with Matt and we had were looking to get climby. We ended up camping in the same campsite as the week before and found a few climbs close by. We were going to set up on a wall but got snaked by some kooks. Then I got really close to a snake. But eventually we set up and climbed.
The next day we went looking for a dam & reservoir the cattle ranchers made in the 1800s. There was a maze of rocks but eventually we found it. There wasn’t much water but its crazy that it hadn’t all evaporated.
After finding the dam we got a few more climbs in. We headed over to the Hall of Horrors and got a few climbs in. We set up on a nice 5.7 on the front wall then headed to the last rock. There are 3 good top climbs. There was also a 5.11 that we attempted but no se puede.
We also found the cave that the hall of horrors is named after.
