Anza Borrego Shooting

You can do whatever you want on BLM land. Anything...

Anza Borrego is a beautiful place

I headed out Saturday night for an epic day of shooting on with Matt & Nick the next day. They had been camping and hiking for the weekend. Finding the BLM land where we were allowed to shoot was difficult. The park ranger couldn’t leagally tell us but hinted in the general direction. We got some better information from a man who was missing a few teeth. It ended up being near Fish Creek Wash were we hiked to the wind caves a year before. LINK.

An abandoned mine railway borders the road where we unloaded and set up some targets. We ended up shooting the .308 most of the day. With the iron sites we were able to hit targets at about 100 yards. There were good times and good times to be had.
