In mid May I took a trip back to England
The next day we attepted the Cobbler
And got a taste of that sweet scottish rain (rain was not sweet)
Leaving the rain behind (sort of)
After leaving that godforsaken hellhole we went south to the Lake District
The first day was warm and sunny as we hiked.
Only good one.
Wat.
Helvellyn
The next day we attempted to hike Helvellyn. We got close to the top but the rain started once we got to the scrambling. Still a pretty sweet hike though. Might do it next time. At least the rain was not as bad as Scotland.
My camera got wet on the way down and I got these pictures.
The castle
We visited a castle that was in ruins. BAM!
The crooked spire
Back in Chesterfield Matt and I went up the crooked spire. Blah blah blah.
